Our guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning, and from there, you’ll embark on a 3-hour walking tour through the heart of Arusha. This tour is a perfect introduction to the city, giving you a chance to explore its bustling streets, vibrant markets, and historical landmarks. You’ll have the opportunity to visit local shops, learn about Arusha’s colonial past, and immerse yourself in the daily life of the city’s residents. As you stroll through the city, your guide will share insights into the culture, traditions, and history that have shaped Arusha into the dynamic place it is today.
After the walking tour, we’ll drive you to Napuru Waterfall, a scenic gem just outside of the city. This hiking adventure takes you through beautiful, lush landscapes and allows you to experience the natural beauty of the area. The hike to the waterfall is relatively easy, making it suitable for most fitness levels, yet the views along the way are breathtaking. Once you arrive at Napuru Waterfall, you’ll have time to relax, take in the views, and enjoy the sounds of nature before beginning your journey back. The waterfall offers a peaceful and serene environment, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.That will include of approximately 2.5 hours to drive from the city to the Waterfall until finish all hiking.
Next, we will take you to Nkoaruma Village in the nearby Meru area, where you’ll experience a unique cultural activity—a Coffee Tour. This 2-hour experience gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of coffee farming, which is deeply rooted in the region. You will walk through local coffee farms, meet the farmers, and learn about the entire process, from planting the coffee beans to harvesting them. The highlight of this tour is when you will get to grind the roasted coffee beans yourself and then brew your very own cup of freshly made coffee.
