Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.
